The main field of application for ipf electronic’s short-circuit proof and reverse polarity protected, laser operated fork light barriers is die-cutting technology. The light barriers with integrated electronics are available with fork widths of 5 – 30mm in increments of 5mm. In accordance with EN 60825, the light barrier laser transmitters correspond to laser class 1. A yellow LED displays the status. In view of their place of installation, the compact fork light barriers with scratch-proof optics are designed in a very robust aluminum housing which corresponds to protection class IP 67. The permitted temperature range for the application of the devices is -20° to +50°C. The light barriers satisfy technical demands by a high sampling frequency of 25kHz and are connected via a PUR cable. Optionally, the connection can be made via 4-pin M12 tool connectors and/or M8-connectors.
