These are based on the motor-driven variable autotransformer principle. They are essentially composed by a series transformer, a variable autotransformer, a servomotor and an electronic control board.
The control board operates the variable autotransformer which gives to the series transformer the additive or the subtractive voltage necessary to have the correct voltage value in output.
