These motors are designed on the basis of brushless electronically commutated motors with permanent magnets. They are intended for use on electrically powered steering (EPS) systems for passenger cars. The design of the motors and the in-built rare-earth magnets ensure great efficiency, silent operation, and low cogging level of the motors.
