The Isolcell Nimos Series nitrogen generators use the PSA technology (Pressure Swing
Adsorption) to produce nitrogen from the compressed air.
The generator is composed of one or more modules consisting of two aluminum columns containing molecular sieves CMS ( Carbon Molecular Sieve).
The compressed air, humidified and filtered, enter one of the columns of the module, flowing through the bed of molecular sieves yielding oxygen, humidity and CO2.
After O2 level has been reduced, the nitrogen is sent to a store tank ready for performance in the room. Afterwards, the saturated filter of oxygen will be regenerated by de-pressurization.
The cycles take place about every minute, everything is controlled by a PLC and visualized on a luminous display on the machine.
