Active brazing alloys are used to braze ceramic materials with stainless steel. Active brazing alloys contain titanium and are always used for furnace brazing with protective atmosphere made by argon or vacuum. Active brazing alloys may be also used to braze alumina and nickel based alloys. Active brazing alloys are delivered in wire, rings, preforms and paste.
