Modular crankshaft balancing machine
CRH
ITW Balance Engineering
The Model CRH Multi-Station Crankshaft Balancer is a modular designed machine with repeating standard stations configurable to suit a wide variety of production rates and capabilities.
Features:
* 3 basic station types:
- Unbalance measurement only (Spindle drive via crankpin, post or flange).
- Unbalance correction only (3-axis counterweight drilling to any crankshaft position).
- Combined measurement and correction (same as Model CRH Single-Station Crankshaft Balancer).
* CBI-2000 controlled servos and measurement/correction process.
* Exceptional front and side access.
* Broadband communication interconnect between stations.
* Compatible with a variety of overhead gantry loaders. Our advanced cycle time modeling chooses a multi-arm, multi-carriage mix.
* Compatible with above-floor or in-floor chip drags or trenches.
Each station of the machine is stand-alone with separate controls. The stations can be assembled in an unlimited combination of configurations to suit different unbalance ranges and production rates. The modular design allows easy rearrangement of stations to accommodate new processes or unbalance capabilities. The machine can be built and qualified to your specifications, or to Balance Engineering's own standard controls at a significantly reduced cost. Environmental, safety and part size capacity specifications are based on those of the Model CRH Single-Station Crankshaft Balancer.
