are plates with tin, nickel or silver to increase the
conductivity or to improve the grouping of common
metals. The CONTACT STRIPS provide spring action coupled
with low electronic resistance. With these features strips
provide excellent electromagnetic shielding and earthing
when used on closures, doors, cabinets and boxes,
particularly where frequent opening and closing operations
are involved. CONTACT STRIPS are generally bonded with
high adhesive tape, but they can also be soft-soldered or
resistance-welded into position.
