SCADA software JANUSSCADA is an acronym of Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition.
It consists of a communication server, a server administrator/ configuration module and monitors or programs to display the states.
- It is a control software application that communicates with the field devices, and controls automatically the process from a PC screen.
- It provides process information to different users: operators, quality control supervisor, supervision, maintenance, etc.
- The Interface System between users and plant based on control panels full of luminous indicators, measure instruments and push-buttons; are replaced by digital systems that introduce the panel in the PC screen.
- The direct control is done by embedded electronic controls that are connected with a PC which realizes the functions of: dialogue with the operator, information treatment and control, using SCADA.
Main Functions:
- Data Acquisition: to collect, process and store the received information.
- Supervision: to observe from a monitor the evaluation of the control variables.
- Control: to modify the process evolution, acting well on the basic autonomous regulators (instructions, alarms, menues, etc.) and well directly on the process through the connected exits.
