The modular design facilitates the adaptation of the device to different applications. Instead of new development the modules can be configured quickly and easily. The equipment costs are clearly reduced, and the amplifier including customer-specific equipment is available for the mechanical engineer significantly faster.
Key component of the amplifier is the basic module. It controls two servo axes and hosts the complete control via CANopen-interface as well as STO-functionality for all connected axes. Furthermore two digital inputs and one output with 24 V (e.g. for a holding brake connection) are available by axis.
Additionally places for axis-, I/O- or customized modules exist in the ECOMODUL, e.g. for an external encoder system or other fieldbus interfaces. Depending on the necessary functionality the amplifier can control up to eight axes and measures not more than 145 (D) x 79 (W) x 212 (H) mm.
The ECOMODUL servo amplifier controls torque/force, speed and position of up to eight axes via CANopen.
