Chain sling

Modern grade 8 or grade 10 chain slings (ENORM) are manageable, light and have many uses. Each chain sling has a tag showing the number of chain legs, their nominal diameter, the working load limit (WLL), with multi-leg chains the working load limit at angles of inclination, e.g. 45° and 60° and the CE mark as well.
In comparison to other slings, the greatest additional advantage of chain slings is that their legs can be shortened very quickly:

- by means of our shortening clutches at the suspension point,
- by means of built-in shortening clutches in the chain legs e.g. JDT shortening clutches with safety devices which can be used at any point in the chain leg,
- by means of shortening clutches with a sturdy support for the horizontal chain link.

These ensure even with heavy loads that the load hangs exactly in the position that is necessary for safe transport or installation.
