This saves space and costs.
This makes it possible to build up the most diverse types of individual cross tables or pick and place units.

On the internal glass scale there is a second track line with distance coded reference marks. This allows the calculation of the absolute position after travelling over 2 marks, independent of the actual travel plate position. Thus no home sensor is necessary.
