The product line JENOPTIK-VOTAN W is used for the laser welding of plastics in different fields of application. The systems of this product line are suited for the processing of plastic parts in the following areas, among others: Headlights; Fuel pumps; Mobile phone parts; Electronics / Sensors; Chute channels; Piping; Fluidic systems.
Functionality
In the laser absorbing component W1, the light energy of the laser is converted into heat energy.
Component W2, which is transparent to the laser light, is heated and melts directly.
