Jewell Instruments presents MD900-T digital and analog clinometer. The device is biaxial and cost-effective. It is used for a broad range of scientific, industrial and GPS applications. Today, several thousands of MD900-T are in use for positioning of antennas, marine surface and subsea applications, structural monitoring, and industrial test and measurement applications.
The MD900-T's enclosure can be mounted easily. It offers a RS232 serial port, and analog outputs through a NEMA 4X connector with 6 pins. Users can select firmware features such as sampling frequency, auto zero, low-pass filter, and on-board data storage. Nonvolatile memory is used for retaining factory calibration parameters. Output data such as X tilt, Y tilt, serial no., and temperature are offered in multiple GPS-compatible formats.
Each unit of MD900-T comes with the ZAGI user-interface software. This facilitates graphing and logging of measurements with ease. Also available are additional options such as expanded memory, RS422 output, real-time clock, viscous damping and submersible housings.
MD900-T provides a biaxial range of ±10°/±25°/±50°. It provides resolution of 0.002°/0.004°/0.01°. Output for tilt & temperature is RS232 and for only tilt it is 0-4.75 VDC. It requires power of 7-28 VDC @ 30mA. It can handle temperature between -40 to +85°C.
