Aqualink is a GSM data logger which can be used for (AMR).
Device can be connected to any energy, water, gas or electrical meter, presure, level .... sensors.

The device is batery powered and periodicaly sends consumption data through an encrypted SMS to a processing server.
Aqualink is a low power device, intended for transferring small pockets of data from measuring devices, to the remote server. The basic device has two pulse inputs (active low with pull-up resistors), on which we can connect HRI, reed, Cybel or other measuring device with pulse output. The device is supplied from latest technology, high power LiSOCl battery, which is its only source of power and it is calculated to last six years, when transmitting one SMS message per day.

Aqualink works in two different modes. The first mode, which is mainly applied, works as a pulse counter with a very low power consumption of approx. 200A. In this mode a RTC (real time clock) is also operating. The microcontroller wakes up from sleep mode every hour to update counters and store information to memory. Also at that time the hour check is engaged and if current time (hour) matches the setting stored when the device was configured, the message composition and sending is engaged. The GSM module integrated on board is quad band and works in all continents. On the beginning of sending cycle the GSM module powers up and searches the appropriate GSM network. When it finds the network and registers to one, the SMS message is transmitted. The data in the message is encoded and holds the following information:
• current time and date
• firmware version
• GSM signal strength
• battery status
• error codes
