After the dewatenng process the sand is ready to be conveyed on belts and is stored close to the pit
Each machine dewaters 300 t/h sand with an initial humidity of approx. 40% which is reduced to 13 to 16% residual humidity depending on the grain size
In order to achieve the desired dewatenng effect, an ideal combination of stroke and speed was determined.
Since 99% of the material is smaller than 0.315 mm, special screen decks made of polyurethane were developed for this application.
