All over the globe there are diverse voltages and frequencies. This leaves yacht owners with a major problem during docking times. For example, wiring designed for the European network cannot be connected to the US network. This incompatibility of on-board and port (local) networks means that even when the yacht is docked in the harbor and is not moving, it must be supplied with power using the on-board generator - a loud and expensive necessity. The GPC (Global Power Converter) shore power converter from JOVYATLAS adjusts the local network to the on-board supply, no matter what the country's voltage and frequency are.
