Thermally resistant glass fibers act as the base material. The fibers are needled and/or stitched. This achieves a great storage capacity and thereby makes a favorable heat conductor. The non-wovens have good textile properties. They are easy to punch and cut, elastic, and are soft and easy to handle.
With different thicknesses (4 - 25 mm), we achieve heat conduction values of 0.03 to 0.33 (W/mK) with these materials.
