Advantages when compared with bandsaws:
·Higher cutting performance due to a 5 to 10 times higher feed rate
·Smaller foot print
For cutting sizes over 150 mm, bandsaws are typically more economical.
The differences are:
·Universal saws with vertical from the top or from the bottom of the table coming saw blade, suited also for miter cutting
·Production saws where orders are processed fully automatically without any personnel
·Mass production saws with very high output levels and extremely small cut piece tolerances.
