Konecranes offers a wide range of explosion proof hoists which comply with the rules of European Federation for Material Handling (FEM) and are designed to meet the new ATEX directives which will become mandatory in Europe as of July 1st, 2003. Explosion proof chain hoists and belt hoists are designed specifically for explosion hazard atmospheres according to European Ex proof standards such as EN50014 to EN50020.
