The SiRiUS series offers robust and stable presetters in unequaled precision and repeatability for setting and measuring tools.
As a CNC device in combination with a large rotary table, the SiRiUS A fulfills all the requirements on an automatic and operator-independent tool setting. Through the solid, self-supporting basic machine body made of grey cast iron, the presetter is resistant against environmental influences like oscillations and variations in temperature and therefore, optimal also for heavy tools without influencing the geometry and stability of the presetter.
The SiRiUS E is exactly the same, however, for manual use. With the large rotary table the SiRiUS E also has the opportunity to mount several spindles and thus to eliminate the adapter change completely or partly.
The SiRiUS C rounds the SiRiUS series off. Designed as a desktop presetter, the machine can be placed either on the workbench or on the specially designed TUL rack.
From it the SiRiUS CR with a 700 mm rotary table developed. Specially designed for turners and milling cutters it facilitates the assembly of different tool holders. Measuring ranges of 370 mm in length and 520 mm in diameter fulfil various tasks.
When developing the SiRiUS series special attention was attached to the ergonomics of the device. Thus, for example the driving control panel (OmniMotion) is directly on the X axis and the operator always has all information exactly where it is required - directly at the measuring point. All commands as there are the axis movement, spindle functions or the rotary table movement can be released ergonomically favourable always at the measuring point.
