Turbine flow-meter
KEM Küppers Elektromechanik GmbH
Turbine flow meters (HM)
are flow meters working according to the principle of Woltmann meters. They asses the flow through the cross-section of a pipe by means of the
mean flow velocity.
KEM-turbines have a short response time and a resolution of up to 100,000 pulses/ltr., which is an advantage in the case of filling operations which require accuracy. The response time, depending on the nominal diameter of the source is between 5 and 50 msec. This guarantees precise
detection of rapidly changing flow rates and pulsing flows.
Technical Data
• Measuring ranges: 0.03 – 25,000 l/min
• Viscosity range: 0.8 – 100 mm²/s
• Linearity: from 0.1% of the reading
• Repeatability: < 0.1%
• Maximum pressure: up to 5,600 bar
• Temperature range: -273 to 350°C
