Kempchen uses heat and acid resistant materials to manufacture fabric expansion joints for gaseous media with low contents of solids particles as flexible connection in pipes and ducts to absorb changes in position due to heat expansion or settling.

For temperatures up to 1200°C (2192F) und 400 mbar. Fabric expansion joints with a 0.5 mm (0.02 in.) layer of sintered PTFE foil may be subjected to high continuous chemical and thermal (up to 260°C/500F) loads and are also used in wet areas of flue gas desulphurization plants as well as DENOX plants. Edge reinforcements of fluorocarbon rubber provide leak tightness in the flange area. We manufacture special versions for use in waste incineration plants or plants of the chemical industry.
