The Kuhnke FIO DO16 5A from Kuhnke is a system of I/O modules that connects the process signals within an Ethercat network. This product is comprised of a bus coupler and different I/o modules. The bus coupler of Kuhnke FIO converts the transmission behavior from Twisted Pair to LVDS (E-Bus) and creates the system supply for the LVDS modules. 100 Base TX lines are connected on one side and the Kuhnke FIO modules to handle signals in sequence on the other side while employing the Ethercat protocol right down to the last I/O module. The connection of the inbound and return lines are shut automatically at the end of the modular device to allow the next Ethercat device to be connected to another port of the bus coupler. This product has a supply voltage of 24 V DC. It is encased in plastic rack aluminum with dimensions that measure 25mm x 120mm x 90mm.
