Constructed from 316 stainless steel tube side (process side) and shell side. Channels composed of a pass ring and cover. Tube side nozzles are located axially in the cover. Top connection with a 90° elbow facilitates piping. Tube side nozzles are sanitary tri-clamp fittings. Shell side connections are threaded NPT through 8 shells and 150 Lb ANSI raised face flanges for larger sizes. Double tubesheets are provided to prevent contamination from shell side fluid in the event of a tube sheet joint leak. Tubes are seal welded to the outer tube sheet to prevent leakage and insure against bacterial growth.
