Development of low-maintenance and non-lubricated chains
After our development of lubrication-free technology, the demand for low-maintenance and non-lubricated chains has increased tremendously over the past few years. More and more customers choose this type of chain for economical as well as ecological reasons. The advantages are obvious. The use of low-maintenance and non-lubricated chains can lead to enormous savings for repairs and maintenance. Since in many cases, no relubrication at all is required, errors in relubrication and maintenance can also be avoided.

By means of extensive studies at our test stands, the research and development department at KettenWulf was successful in developing two basic techniques for manufacturing low-maintenance and non-lubricated chains. Depending on environmental conditions and ambient influences, we can offer non-lubricated chains in either sealed or unsealed design.
