With the low-head crane, the traveling rail (I-beam) is fixed on ceiling rafters of the building. The crane is then suspended from the rail. Because location and span can be freely chosen, the crane can be designed to suit production line processes. Both the track wheels and track wheel axles are designed for easy detaching ; thus, they reduce time for installing and maintaining the crane.
