ECT machines are hot-melt, adhesive-style top-load carton and tray-forming machines. The ECT is capable of handling an impressive array of carton tray designs, formed from a single flat blank and ranging from a typical four-corner style to complex hexagonal, octagonal and other unusual multi-sided packages. Application of adhesives can be accomplished through the use of either an enclosed, pressurized nozzle-type (jetting) applicator system or an open-pot 'dauber.'
