By use of the well proven single-start spiral bevel gear hobs of the Klingelnberg palloid gear cutting system the CNC controlled C 28 P represents a high productive hobbing system for spiral bevel- and hypoid gears.
It provides all the requirements for an economical manufacturing of pinions and ring gears in high- and small batch production.
The spiral bevel gears produced with this system stand out for the quiet running behavior, overall accuracy, constant contact pattern and above all the unmatched unsensitivity against displacements under load.
The characteristic involute curvature over the length of the tooth and the typical palloid surface structure allow an effective hard finishing after case hardening by means of lapping. The results achieved in terms of economical production and precision of the finished components comply with today's high standards in every respect.
By means of an additionally available option deburring of the ring gears can be performed directly on the hobbing machine C 28 P.
