Precision steel shaft
ø 5 - 80 mm
KML Linear Motion Technology GmbH
KML high precision 60case shafts are inductively hardened and grinded steel shafts with high surface quality, tolerance class h6 or js4 according to DIN/ISO standard.
As mechanical components they work satisfactorily as guiding shafts, gear shift levers, pushrods and for related applications.
Diameter
from 5 to 80 mm
Length
undivided up to 7.5 meters
Larger lengths by joining several shafts possible
Materials
Carbon steel and/or chrome-plated steel alloys
Standard material 1.1213 (Cf 53),
Corrosion resistant 1.4034 (X40Cr13),
Corrosion and acid-resistant 1.4112 (X90CrMoV18),
Thin film hard chrome coating
Surface hardness
55 - 65 HRC
Advantages
- high precision
- long life time
- high abrasion resistance
- also as hollow shaft available
- optional available with machined end journals, male and female threads and cylindrical lateral surfaces
