Description

The VKM from KOBOLD is a viscosity compensated flow meter and switch for viscous liquids, which offers a spring-loaded float. It slides within a cylindrical measuring tube, and has an integral orifice. The device is designed with fully compensate for the stickiness, and for a large density range even with very low flows. The float and switch includes a steady magnet activated by a potential free bi-stable reed, mounted outside the flow. This bi-stable reed ensures hermetic separation between the medium and the electrical contact system. The contact is installed inside an a plastic housing with an adjustable height, to protect from contact damage by automated action or energetic atmospheres.
