With a capacitive level sensing element, NSC level monitors from KOBOLD are suited for controlling bulk material flow in silos and depots. They come in two variants, namely, NSC-R and NSC-C, both of which in their standard form are suitable for monitoring the maximum level of high bulk density materials.However, they can be modified or attached to the side to monitor the minimum level of low bulk density materials. NSC-R features a PTFE-coated stainless steel probe with high rigidity. NSC-C features a stainless steel body housing a polypropylene-coated steel cable leading to a connection box. The steel cable is adaptable and can be shortenened as required. Though both these variants can be used in a wide range of applications, NSC-C offers more flexibility than what NSC-R offers.
