The Twisted Tube technology offers alternative solutions at heat exchangers problems; especially at heat exchanger revamps combined with capacity increase (de-bottlenecking) this technology can offer significant advantages while being realised at low cost invest. Compared to conventional heat exchangers we can gain an increased heating surface up to 45 % re-using the existing shell and an increased throughput by 30 to 35% keeping same pressure drop. The unique bundle design allows for complete mechanical cleaning on shellside despite triangular pitch. Reduced fouling and a guaranteed solution to eliminate vibration problems are further advantages of the Twisted Tube Design.
