A welder can position objects of up to 4000 pounds by simply applying fingertip pressure and does not need to raise their helmet or break an arc.
The Universal Balance principle is to intersect the rotational axis center of gravity with that of the tilt axis. Work pieces can then be rotated 360? around both axes and, in most cases, around the positioner column. Special engineered positioners are always available.
