Description

The SpecWin Pro software offers the highest degree of functionality for Instrument Systems spectrometer operation. Based on a completely new development, SpecWin Pro incorporates the latest programming innovations available for the Windows operating system. SpecWin Pro is extremely adaptable, supporting a comprehensive range of accessories available from Instrument Systems. Some of these accessories include the DTS 500 positioning system, the TOP 200 telescopic optical probe with video display, the LEDGON 100 and MiniGon series of goniophotometers. There is an additional software add-on that extends SpecWin Pro’s capabilities to include the Keithley 2400 and 2600 series current sources so that electrical parameters can also be measured alongside optical measurements in data analysis and documentation. When running SpecWin Pro, each application uses its one separate window, showing application specific options, dialog, analysis and visualizations. An integrated Pass/Fail function allows the user to monitor specific measurement conditions or results. A predefined report page is linked with each measurement window, and the report contents can be changed as necessary. Another useful feature is the option SpecWin Pro has to acquire and document a series of measurements. The user can choose particular set-up options and relevant measurement parameters and then have the resulting specific data included in the data analysis documentation. The results can also be exported to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.
