In order to minimize the delivery times,
KORTA offers a range of ball screws in several
sizes from permanent stocks. The said range
comprises ball screws according to both
KORTA’s own standard and the DIN 69051 stan-
dard.
Each category is further divided into
rolled ball screws and ground ball screws.
Rolled ball screws are suitable for any applica-
tion demanding a level of performance from
this system, which need not be as high as that
required from ground ball screws.
Manufacturing of the former type excludes the
grinding of the screw thread (but not of the nut
thread); it ensues a substantial cutdown of this
product manufacturing costs and selling price.
