TRIGGER
The new Trigger-concept capping machine for KOSME Filling was designed for sprayer applications with a straw length of max. 250 mm.
The machine is completely covered in stainless steel. The doors and protective housings can be opened as needed both from the side and vertically and are equipped with safety microswitches. Trigger is managed completely by PLC and is equipped with an interface from which you can select the movements of each individual part of the machine.
Thanks to its twelve capper heads, the capping machine has a production capacity of up to 9,000 bph. The sprayers from the sorter are directed by an external guide to a Pick-and-Place system. A newly designed gripper, mounted on the starwheel, guarantees the proper orientation of the sprayers until they are under the capper head.
The KRONES infeed worm screw, also used for filling and labeling machines, guarantees the operator ease of regulation at any format changeover. The closure conveyor starwheel follows a shaped disk for cams and, at the same time, moves and inserts the sprayers in the containers.
At this point, the container is closed by screwing on the closure. Proper container transport is not only guaranteed at the infeed, but also at the discharge: The machine is equipped with a reject system that can detect and remove any containers that are not perfectly capped.
