Attention:
BGV D 36 must be observed in accordance with DIN 18799
and 14094 and EN ISO 14122-4:
* In accordance with EN ISO 14122-4, a back protection is required for
climbing heights of 3 m or more
* For every 2 meters, fixed ladders must be attached with wall anchors
* Maximum length of a multi-section ladder is 10 meters and a back
guard is mandatory
* Systems with a climbing height exceeding 10 m require the use of
intermediate platforms (if this is not possible, rest platforms must be
installed every 10 m)
* If escape ladders in accordance with DIN 14094 are planned, the
competent fire authority must be contacted, and the proper assembly
and load bearing capacity must be checked and certified by an
authorized inspector for stability
* As an economical and safe alternative for the back protection
basket, refer to page 53 for our safety fall protection system which is
in compliance with EN 353 and DIN 18799.
