Thin-film solar module backsheet

Backsheets for thin-film modules from Krempel For thin-film solar modules as well, it is important to reconcile cost-effectiveness and quality. Krempel is helping to ensure this with two PV backsheets for thin-film modules based on the glass-film principle. The backsheets are available at prices appropriate to the market and are resistant to moisture in accordance with ISO 15106-3 (HBF = High Barrier Foil). In the case of the AKASOL® HBF (TAPE) type, a fluoropolymer film forms the outer layer, whereas in the case of AKALIGHT HBF (PAPE), the outer layer is a special UV-resistant polyester film. Both types are based on AKASOL and AKALIGHT backsheets for classical solar modules which have already proven their quality in practical field use worldwide.
