The high precision single spindle chucker Kummer K200R keeps the concept of the mobile headstock in X and Z axes: the headstock moves with the workpiece from tool to tool during machining. The high precision chucker Kummer K200R has been designed to finish turn parts up to 500 mm in dia. It completes the new range of Kummer products and retains most of its design features though offering more machining flexibility.

The turret is directly affixed to the machine base of the high precision chucker Kummer K200R, guarantying a maximal rigidity. The 15 toolholder stations allow a greater machining flexibility for medium size production batches. All 15 stations can be optionally fitted with axial or radial livetooling (3000 RPM). For machining sequences requiring particular complexity, this configuration enables installing different machining attachments on an additional support (radius turning attachment, power milling units, HF spindles)

The single spindle high precision chucker K200R expands the range of parts being traditionally machined on Kummer products. This piece of equipment can perform very complex secondary turning and machining operations requiring a relatively high number of cutting tools, live tooling and optional special machining attachments
