Small, High Current, Common Mode Chokes for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)
Steward, a unit of Laird Technologies, offers three monolithic surface-mount common mode chokes with current ratings up to 10 AMP continuous operation. These new common mode chokes are designed for power and data line EMI filtering where high-current, small size or high-frequency performance is required.
These common mode chokes operate at up to 110 at 100 MHz with peak impedance up to 170 Ă at 1 GHz. Common mode chokes are configured to maintain peak performance under load; impedance does not drop or shift with increasing current. They are available in small 1812 and 3312 package sizes.
