The dispatch base station segment covers antennas used mostly for public safety applications or private networks. The dispatch center coordinates and controls the dispatch units and tracks the location and ID of the dispatched units.

Laird Technologies' world class engineering teams utilize proprietary, state-of-the-art design tools to create dispatch base station antenna products that maximize total system performance and user satisfaction.

Most products include Yagis, Folded Dipoles, or Omnidirectional Pole-mounted Stick antennas; with typical frequencies ranging from VHF all the way to 6 GHz. High gain moves the low power signal from point-to-point with minimal effort.

They come in two basic types: Sectorized and Omnidirectional. The high gain sector antennas are available with horizontal beamwidths of 45, 60, 90 and 120 degrees. In addition, there is a field adjustable beamwidth model available for ultimate system flexibility.
