WiMAX is a telecommunications technology aimed at providing wireless data over long distances in a variety of ways, from point-to-point links to full mobile cellular type access. WiMAX operates over greater distances and for a greater number of users and is used in a variety of applications including banking and education networks, public safety, offshore communications and military communications. WiMAX antenna types include V-Pol Sector, High Gain Panel, and Solid Dish.
