Laird Technologies offers a broad line of surface mount, wire-wound power inductors for voltage conversion applications. These inductors are used to store energy or be used as filters in voltage regulator modules for computers, workstations, and server designs. They are also used in DC-to-DC converters for a wide range of products in server, telecom, data communications, industrial and consumer market segments.

With a small footprint and rugged construction, Laird Technologies' power inductors allow designers the ability to address board space issues. They come in shielded and non-shielded options, and can carry up to 30 amperes (A) of current for high power applications. Operating frequencies range from 100 KHz to 1 MHz at an operating temperature from -40°C to 85°C.

The power inductors are RoHS compliant, and are available in tape and reel packaging for surface mount pick-and-place volume manufacturing.
