Video-kymography camera Lambert Instruments
The KymoCam camera is developed for the study of Vocal Fold Vibrations. The camera can be used in two different modes, standard and high-speed.
In the standard mode the KymoCam camera produces a standard B/W video signal representing a 2-dimensional image. In high-speed mode, the camera delivers 1-dimensional images at high speed (8000 fps), corresponding to one single video line. The line images are displayed below each other on a regular TV monitor creating a 2-dimensional pattern. The method, Videokymography, was developed as a low-cost alternative for digital high-speed imaging for the examination of vocal fold vibrations.
