Lifting bottom centrifuge Type DS
In the drum of the centrifuge there is a hydraulically activated live bottom. which performs an upward and rotating movement. The material, which is being introduced continuously, first of all falls through the input funnel into the drum and forms a circle on the lower part of the drum wall. The thrust action bottom, which is controlled to move at regular intervals, thrusts the material, according to pre-determined cycles, across the specially designed strainer, which is set into the drum wall. At this point, the solid material is separated from the liquid.
