The newly developed laser chip has a specially designed structure and a high cw power level of 120 mW for the highest recording speed possible. In addition, this component has an extremely long operating lifespan of 10,000 hours. It comes in a standard TO housing with a diameter of 5.6 mm and is suited for operating temperatures of up to 70°C.
A less powerful version with an optical output power of 20 mW (CS4050205M) is also available. Additional laser diodes in the 35-140 mW range will be available soon.
