Bridge-type coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
Laser Design
The DM-1620 is an excellent choice for manual 3D Scanning of small to medium sized parts that have complex shapes and/or free-form surfaces. The DM-1620 also features manual CMM capability as an economical option.
The DM-1620 system was designed for maximum user ease, moderate cost and the highest accuracy. These compact systems are easy to install and easy to maintain. Using its patented laser line scanning technology, the operator manually scans parts from all orientations, then easily rotates the data back into a common coordinate system.
State-of-the-art laser line scanning technology dramatically reduces scanning time by collecting data significantly faster than conventional non-contact measuring technologies. Surveyor Scan Control software adds versatility and functionality to the DM-1620 systems. It controls laser probe settings and contains advanced data capture and editing features. The digitized scan data can then be processed further with optional software from Laser Design Solutions Partners.
