Pistons are components necessary for the operation of automatic gearboxes: they transform a hydraulic pressure into a force that activates clutches. They are composed of an insert onto which elastomer sealing lips are bonded.
Several armatures of the section that may have a very complex design, are insert-molded by a rubber specially adapted to high friction stresses.
