The optical fiber switches from LEONI are based on a patented unique microoptical/ micromechanical solution. Due to a unique combination of refractive microoptical components and robust, industrial proven actuators LEONI´s switches are characterized by excellent optical parameters and short switching time. For the user this guaranties excellent parameters, high flexibility and long term stability. The switches are available for several broad spectral regions, starting from the whole visible and covering the telecom infrared spectrum. They can be built with various fiber types, PM fibers for the eol series included.
