Alto RIOM is designed to become integrated into TCMS and embedded architectures. It can control local automatisms, command gateways or supervision functions : air conditioning, doors, brakes, auxilliaries, fire security.
Alto RIOM provides the monitoring of equipments on serial or CAN networks.

The connection to the upper level is MVB (Main Vehicle Bus) or EtherNet/IP.

Alto RIOM has been designed following a SIL2 level process with the conformity to EN50155 norm.
For example, Alto RIOM MVB contributes for the brakes monitoring of the Barcelona metro cars, included in the Alstom AGATE Link system.
